The franchise offered is the right to develop, own and operate a health and fitness club under the name and mark 'Fitness 19' at a specific location.

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Fitness 19-branded fitness club ranges from $724,190 to $1,941,100. This includes $16,500 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliates. If, at your request, you and we enter into an Area Development Agreement under which you would agree to acquire franchises to develop multiple Fitness 19-branded fitness clubs, the total investment necessary under the Area Development Agreement is $10,000 multiplied by the number of franchises you agree to acquire. For our typical 2-unit development commitment, the investment would be $20,000, all of which is paid to the franchisor. We apply this amount, in $10,000 increments, as a credit against the initial franchise fee that is due as you sign franchise agreements until the aggregate amount of those credits equals the development fee.
