BMSI was incorporated on December 3, 1990 and commenced activity on December 3, 1991. BMSI began offering BRAKE MASTERS franchises in 1991.

The total investment necessary to begin operations of a Brake Masters Systems, Inc.’s franchised business ranges from $167,450 to $298,950 for someone having an existing automotive repair business, and from $227,200 to $652,150 for a start-up business. These estimates do not include real estate expenses. This includes the initial franchise fee of $22,950, and pre-opening purchases ranging from $0 to $193,609, that must be paid to the franchisor or their affiliates. If you elect to enter into a Multi-Store Amendment, you will pay Brake Masters Systems, Inc. a development fee equal to 50% of the initial franchise fee for each additional Brake Master’s store (excluding your first store).
